Rebecca Umberger – SVP B2G Marketing
Rebecca leads Sage’s business-to-government marketing practice. She and her team enable technology companies, service providers, resellers, and distributors to market and sell into the federal and SLED marketplaces.
A strategic public-sector marketer, Rebecca has more than 30 years’ experience in marketing leadership that includes Information Builders, PRICE Systems, immix, Quest Software, Dell, One Identity and ServiceNow. She is passionate about creating strategy, collaborating with government vendors, implementing plans, and most of all measuring the success of a well-rounded go to market plan.
Using her years of experience in the IT industry helps her provide expertise to organizations entering the market or in need of expanding their marketing support at any stage. She has extensive experience managing large teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
Outside the office Rebecca enjoys time with her family and trips to the mountains. She has been heavily involved with community service: supporting FACETS for more than 30 years in their mission to feed Fairfax County homeless; serving as co-chair of a large Relay for Life team; and active leadership in her church. Rebecca is also a Government Marketing University ambassador and past mentor.
