USDA Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
FDPIR, an agency within the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), provides nutritious food options to income-eligible households living on Native American reservations across the United States. FDPIR chose Sage as its vendor partner to design collateral for a series of diverse outreach tools; and conduct custom photoshoots to capture compelling imagery of FDPIR’s audiences.
Sage ideated and designed a suite of digital and print creative from trifold brochures to posters, factsheets, signage, stickers, shelf talker signage, and magnets. We proposed concepts that were fun, bright, and inviting.
For a portion of the creative, Sage designed a cartoon, illustrative look and feel, bringing familiar food and household items to life. We added personality to refrigerators, fruits, and vegetables.
For the other creative, Sage focused on rich photography, blocks of color, and playful typography to highlight the different food options offered.
And lastly, Sage managed the production and post-production of two separate photoshoots in the Midwest and Northwest US regions. The photoshoot efforts resulted in 200 final images for unlimited use.
Sage’s combined creative efforts resulted in a 2023 MarCom Platinum Award.
