Client Spotlight: Population Association of America
Sage Communications has the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients, helping with their public relations, marketing and public affairs needs. This week, we would like to highlight a client that affects public discussion surrounding many hot-button items: Population Association of America (PAA).
The Population Association of America (PAA) is a nonprofit, scientific, professional organization established in 1930 to support the scientific study of the human population. PAA is an organization of professionals from multiple disciplines including demographers, sociologists, economists, public health professionals, and other engaged in research and education in the scientific study of population. The organization's common purpose is to advance knowledge and understanding of the causes and consequences of population composition, processes and change.
From April 26-28, PAA is holding their Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado where population and demography enthusiasts alike will gather to discuss their research and report on key findings that will shape the conversation around some of the greatest debates of the 21st century. Leading up to the Annual Meeting, Sage is working with PAA to execute a dynamic media campaign to generate awareness of critical academic research prepared for the meeting, elevate the voice of the association in the press and educate key policymakers, the media and the general public about the importance of population research.
